Entry Level Dvd Players Poor Does ANYONE Have Solid Info On Future Blu-ray Pricing?

Does ANYONE have solid info on future blu-ray pricing? - entry level dvd players poor

I just bought a 42 "1080p LCD TV for my bedroom and want a 1080p source to take advantage of the capabilities of the TV. Now, with HD-DVD officially dead, it means that my source is the standard Blu-ray. My Problem is Sony entry-level player (BDP S-300) is back late in the prices for retail sales of $ 399.99. PS3 40G sold $ 399.99. So, why pay the same price for a standalone player? It has no meaning for the consumer. Also check if the explanation does the BDP S-300 is not big by far. It seems that this player requires a continuous updating of the firmware, you must connect to the Internet or via DVD to update the recording of a PC. This leads me to believe that the unity in the player very similar if not identical with PS3. Anyone who has ever seen or heardd Futre a lower price on Blu-ray? I do not care if it's only 3 months only I know!

I am forced to disagree with being "bought. All films will work in all players, but not all features work in all players. So even if you buy a new player, you can not the old man on a second TV or something.

On the front of the PS3 price goes independent, because the PS3 is subsidized. Game more and more expensive to make than they sell, because the company money for licenses.

The disc in the standalone player is probably the same (I mean, it's Sony, so I would only buy one tonne) of these games, but the fact that the Internet or DVD recording updated firmware does not mean that the same is. The internal components are completely different. The BDP S-300 does notnot within the Cell processor, which is the source of the decoding capability of the PS3 crazy. The PS3 only has the ability to update each increment of data, since it has the hardware under the hood. They have taken a picture 2 decoder for PIP. Since the decoder of the PS3 BluRay lasted only 3 of the EEC. It is fairly easy to add a new decoder for the other 3 of the EEC. It has) enough memory to download (BDLive.

Go to the future price cuts, I mean cover paris (on the decline over the course of the PlayStation 3 in October or November, possibly sooner if falls 360 in price, I would say at E3, but that only increased the value of the package of 80GB by $ 50 instead of the SIXAXIS DualShock3). The PS3 is the head of BluRay and Sony is pushing for Blurand the PS and the brand in every room. The widgets are designed to make a profit, and not fall in the price are sunk costs [which, incidentally, could soon because the laser has reduced].

The only drawback is that the PS3 is not compatible with DTSMA and other lossless codec (DTS HD?). So if you really want these codecs, you can find a free agent, or wait until the PS3 will have a firmware update to activate it (I am sure it is) only in the bottom of the list.
